My favourite restaurant, I have never had a bad meal. Excellent service from Gabby and the staff. They are friendly, helpful and always cheerful. The food is excellent, well presented and I have never had a copmplaint about amount, I have found that more vegetables are available on request. Very good wine list and the beers and lagers are cheaper than in Northallerton. Highly recommended,

We had previously booked a table for 6 and arrived to be greeted by the bar staff. The bar staff were helpful and showed us the menus which offered a wide range of food if so a little expensive.
The food was good, I had fres smoked salmon followed by a lamb shank. The portions were a little on the small side. If I had to say what was good, was the service, what was not so good was the portion of vegatables for 6 (on one plate) very stingy. I did make the waiter aware, but he just shrugged. £5.50 for 3 small pieces of cheese to finish sums it up. Nice location, but there are better places nearby.
